    That's awful because BDSM isn't about rape, their are safe words and everyone consents to that kind of sex, this book just seems to glamorise rape. She seems very uneducated about rape and it's effects, she is telling woman that rape is sexy and should be enjoyed.
    I know people who read the book and they don't seem to understand the ramifications of that kind of work, like rape can be fun? Nope. And they associate rape with BDSM which is awful. They are two separate things.
    Really pisses me off.

    There was a tangent that suggested that when James was in college, it was common for women who were raped by their husbands and boyfriends to accept it because it "did not happen." So there is that to ponder. Also, the first erotic she read was a lesbian short story where a woman is basically raped and abused to prove her love to her Domme.
