Awwh. I know how you feel.
I always used to try out for school teams, but never made it, but my sister always used to be on teams and stuff. >:(
Sucks kinda.
But I dunno.
I've tried diets before but they're not that great because once I started getting comfortable I'd go and binge. x]
But weight shouldn't really matter, unless it risks your health.
-growls- The graduating classes at my school aren't that small. They are kinda but not really. =[ On our band's message boards the one guy put smileys representing him all the way through the song. It starts out happy and at the end he's crying. Luckily for him, this next school year he'll be a senior. XD.
I can play a saxaphone! Not really but I probably could if I tried. It's just like the clarinet... But not.. Apparently.. I think... Things confuse me...
Nuh uh! Drumline! The color guard people are pretty cool but ours are kinda lazy. And they've went through 3 instructors in the past 3 years. I liked the guy they had when I did it in Indoor. College kid.. Haha.
"You know you've been in band too long when you actually understand the drumline."
Yea you have to memorize your routine or music, make sure the flag angle is right, horn angle right, the dynamics, your drill, make sure everything goes with the music, make sure your in step, AND look good while doing it. MB is deffinatley one of the hardest sports there is nomatter what people say.
GO YOU! I have a concert for chorus next wednesday and one for orchestra this monday. We shall rock. And our first parade is saturday we shall also kick ass. O with the steer clear thing last year after the drums had the drum break cause they were in the very front and the gaurd had to get through I would always have to move over to th left when I would march up because one of the bass drums (cough cymbals cough) was always to far twords the 40. But I could've aken him out but I didn't get to spin because I hade to go thourgh them. I have band tomarrow I hope it doesn't rain that would be depressing.
oo yea we fundraise by doing a lottery tickets thing, selling candy, bottle and can drive and our parent boosters/volunteers do a concession stand at a show we do and 100% of profits go to us. And the distrcit gives us some money too and they provide transportation cause we use school buses, and because our director is a music and band teacher.
O the flags we're made by our parent vlunteers speically for us, no other band has them.
Our feild season starts in July and goes to November 2nd when we have our Banquet. Our parade season starts in March and goes to june (this year normal it stops in may but we added another parade). So last parade season everyone took June off then started in July but this year were going right through June.
