OMG my brother broke his arm today!!! :(

Wow, that's pretty weird. If you can't talk your friend out of it and he's already going deeper but hasn't cut you loose yet, I would advise getting as far (metaphorically) away from him as possible, based on experience. BUT if you wanna stay and try to fight off the darkness then go right on ahead because people must learn through their own experiences. I'm not trying to make you be friendless, I'm just saying, be careful.
