@ kota. OMG! I know! I don't want to send her anything with mistakes! lol I read it so much before I gmail it, i'm literally sick of the chapter. *crazy* I'm cursed with perfectionism when it comes to that. O_o
@ A. J. That's exactly what I do! I have an English major friend that goes over things I write for me, but I'm always embarrassed to show him, so I edit it myself several times first.
@ kota. Good luck editing. That's the part I hate the most. I tend to zone out after a few paragraphs b/c I get bored of reading my own story- as I know what happens next. I do have a friend go over it after I've run through like 6 drafts to catch anything I've missed.
=) You'e sweet. I honestly, freaking love your writing. Your more than welcome, but you don't have to thank me. I thank YOU for writing and sharing your gift. God I sound like a cheesy sap!!! LOL Take care and have an excellent weekend. OOPS I'm sorry. I assumed that post was for me. Well, I do love your writing. :D OH wait, I'm so stupid, I think that was for me as I only see you and I replying to each other. SO in addition to being a sap, I'm slow. hahahaha I blame the hole in the ozone layer and the time change. O_o
I seriously cannot thank you enough for all the wonderful things that you think about my writing. They make me cry in the best ways possible, and it makes me grateful that you're willing to read through it. You're absolutely wonderful. So thank you. <3
I love corruption. I usually read something and come up with different scenarios when the ones written are too predictable. I don't mind predictability but its funner to be kept guessing. Just wondering but how old are you?
@ Beard I know and agree with you. Who really gets married and has kids, the perfect job and house and friends at the end of a book? Most all of them i've read. I think the journey to the end of a book is more interesting. Get into the characters head and his or her conflicts and decisions. They're not perfect so there's going to be drama, angst and fights. Plus the corrupted or more messed up they are, the more i like them. guess i relate to them somehow. Yet, i'm guilty of writing happy endings to please readers, so i'm a sellout. lol
Nice to meet you. I think dark characters are more realistic to me. No one's life is perfect. Most things you read about have this perfect ending so I try to avoid that. Its really healing.
@ Beard I'm Andrew or Aj. I'll answer to either. lol. I like dark because it helps get feelings out-- for me anyway. I've written dark characters and of course, they're from my experiences but I don't tell which character or which instances. It's pretty healing for me.
I would say that hat sex should totally be a thing, but that would be pretty odd.
