Thank you so much! I'm excited for you all to get to know Caroline some more throughout the story. I promise she isn't all bad. There will definitely be some manchild Jack coming up in the near future. I'd like to think that he does have some bad moments about his younger years like the rest of us. I agree, it's so hard finding OC fanfics for ATL. All I've stumbled upon are Jalex stories (which I do love) or other poorly written OC stories that I can't even finish reading without wanting to rip my hair out. For instance the other ATL stories I wrote three years ago, I recently read them and wanted to projectile vomit because of how awful my writing was.

Anyways, thank you for the feedback!! Keep an eye out for the next chapter and I'll be sure to give you a shout out in the A/N.

hi. i'm not gonna be writing a sequel and i've two main reasons for that.

1) alex was a right dick. he kissed zooey like she meant smth more to him, leading her on - in a way, and then he went around shagging other random women.

2) .... the last line of Happy fit perfectly for the chapter title tbh
