Thank you for the poetry comments. I'm not quite sure what "three word lines" are actually called, if anything, I just know that I like to use them.

hahaha a shirt raccoon would be the cutest thing in the world! I don't think we do or at least i can honestly say I have never seen one! so you just do [ i ] that? hahaha possum soul eaters that image is amaze-balls :P
"Running in the dead of night, I knew. Tonight I would lose my soul. My breath quickened as I ran from the tiny pest that threatened the very fabric of my existence, as I felt the fur the world went black. The possums had taken one more soul." That's really crap, but thats what I imagined when I read soul eating possums haha. Vicious?! As vicious as a bunny rabbit haha

I am vICIOUS. Also I initially read 'shirt cocoon' as 'shirt raccoon' and tHAT IS THE CUTEST THING EVER. Like you know those swans swanky hotels fold out of towels and put in your room??? Like that. But out of a shirt. And a raccoon. Do you even have raccoons in Australia??? I know from a Tumblr post our possums are completely different. Like yours are cute and ours are soul eaters.

Anyway, I dunno if you already found your answer but to italicize text you just type [ i ] text here [ / i ] but with no spaces. It's kinda a hassle 'cause you have to do it around each selection of text you want to italicized, but meh.

ALSO do you know how to make things italic, because when I wrote it on my computer i had put all the thoughts by the character in italic and I just realised that hasn't come through

No, I assure you, I'm entirely capable of being a butt. It's usually inadvertent but sometimes not so much. Also I just read it and I loved it!!!!!! I really like when I have absolutely no idea what direction(s) the story's going in, like I'm a hitchhiker in a random car full of strangers hurdling down a road of angst and the ~*~unknown~*~

Also I wILL THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR HONEST FLATTERS ME TO THE POINT OF COCOONING MYSELF IN MY OWN SHIRT (I don't know if you know what I'm talking about here, but in high stress situations I recede into my clothes like a turtle). But yes, I'm happy to answer any layout questions within my meager capabilities. I mostly just screw around with the settings until I'm too tired/frustrated to continue and/or actually sorta satisfied with the results.

    afusdfsf yOU ARE WONDERFUL TOO

That is sad, even when your first writing isn't great, it's nice to have it.
But I don't have most of mine either, either lost it or erased it, silly me =P

That book title is definitely intriguing.
She is two. Her name is Anastasia =)

    Ooh, what book?

Kind of. I've just got done going through all my old journals for lines of inspiration, I'm working on publishing a poem book. Other than that I took my daughter to see her cousin today.

I promise I'm really not. Also!!! My general thoughts for people facing the eternal struggle of 'to post or not to post', is to post. Which is apparently exactly what you did (if your new story is any indication)!! To be honest, I just realized it was up so I haven't read it yet, but the summary alone has me pretty darn invested.

also eee thank you for all the nice things you said about my stuff. You're my first writer friend who's not harshly critical of everything I make so!!!! also if I may lay this offer on the proverbial table without sounding like an utter tool: I sorta know my way around the basics of story layout making, if you ever need assistance with that. Like in no way am I trying to say they're necessary or anything, I'm just saying I have the capacity to be vaguely useful at times.
