Yeah, that's the best option for the moment. Better to figure out where you stand with your own feelings, before you try to figure out what to do about them. Hopefully for your sake it turns out to be nothing more than a little crush, so you can go back to being friends as normal. But if not, I'm more than happy to talk it out with you and help you figure out how to deal with it

Just wanted to let you know that although I've missed the deadline for your Foo Fighters song comp, I'm still writing the story. It's only short, but I'm not far off finishing and will let you know when I post it.

My brother believed I was a vampire for two solid years x) He still believes in Santa and it's honestly great. I don't ever want him to grow up and understand all of the jokes in the movies we watch.

Pretty good. My brother, who's eight, was on spring break the last two weeks and we basically hung out the whole time and watched movies. It was nice to get to spend so much time with him.

I'm glad you're staying. My mom has seizures from time to time. She didn't have any for a while, then just had a whole bunch last night and this morning. She woke up from sleeping crying because her head hurt so bad. Like, I never get used to seeing my mom cry.

From thrillers to medieval history stories (based around the Wars of the Roses - An English civil war.) I am also a really loyal Yorkist... But you probably won't get that :O Oh no.

No need to apologize for the ranting. Rant away. You should have seen me during the blog wars and any time users tried to police things that were being written. Policing in general annoys me; Mibba doesn't have any of that on its own, which is why I like it. It's the users who are completely pretentious and who want to say what can and cannot be written, who should and should not get attention and why. It's annoying; if this was real life, I'd be getting violently angry and breaking things. Writing is freedom, and no one should police it. Yes, TJ and Nick... Sigh. It was half being anti-social and half being curious. I wrote nothing but m/m back then and guys aren't usually treated well in m/m circles so I thought I could write and fly under the social radar. I admittedly liked the anonymity, especially considering I shared the house with a religious family and wouldn't be caught since those boys weren't me. Then I stopped caring and my Mibba links are posted everywhere. But being Shay will always be more fun

Hey, no problem. Like I said, you're a really great guy and it really infuriates me that users even care about gender. On a website like this, which all but preaches equality, it's severely depressing to see someone harassed day in and day out like that. I don't have a Facebook either; I don't have time for childish drama between people who should know better by now but still act like they're thirteen years old. You shouldn't feel bad just because you happen to be a guy on a website that's mostly women, and those women shouldn't try to attribute their lack of popularity to the gender of any other user. There's a lot of people on this website I wouldn't talk to because of the way they act and how they blame others for their stories not being successful because A) You shouldn't care about success on a website and B) If you act like a child, no one is going to want to deal with you. You're incredibly mature and well-spoken, and that's a huge step up from the last male user I dealt with.

Writing for me started out as a hobby too; I was using it to pass the time after a practice state standardized test in like second grade. I kept doing it and realized, "Hey, I really like this." I started sharing my stories online and that's when people started telling me I was good. I was pretty shocked. But it did inspire me to write more, and soon I became too attached to the writing and especially my most beloved character (Derek from She's Mine) to relegate them to "hobby." Thank you for the sweet words and the compliments. <3 Those are wonderful and I've smiled at all of them. And yes, you're good. There's emotion there, and emotion is something you can't force. You can have perfect spelling and grammar and your story will still be lacking if you can't express the emotion.

You're welcome, Zak. When I started here, I had people in my corner from the beginning who were encouraging and helped me out, and I attribute that to my success here. Everyone needs people, especially in art. Writing in a vacuum does not usually bode well in the long run.
