Yeah, I have to do more research on these kinds of things. It's always fun to hear those weird stories, especially about kings and queens. Still, magic, whether real or not, is a fun topic to mess with =)May 2nd, 2014 at 10:04pm -
It is, and I know Edward thought they were poppycock. Forgive the word, but that's pretty much how records say he fel abiout it. His wife (in real life) was accused of witchcraft, of getting him to marry her by love posions and spells, so, he pretty much laughed it out of his court. Apparently, it was funny that they should suspect the queen of england of witchcraft, more to the point that they should suggest he was 'foolish' enough to be trapped by witchcraft. he was actually quite an amusing figure. He wasn't born to get to the positions he got to. So he was a wodnerful example of makeshift royalty. He was likely to be a prince and was born an heir to the throne. But I dont think he expected to win the crown of England. I think he's fascinating. but Eleanor Butler is someone I have never explored. And I think she seems like the type who would believe in magic.May 2nd, 2014 at 10:00pm

Heh, the best part about a story is that you can make anything happen X) if I were to use magic in one of my books, I'd lean more toward necromancy perhaps. Gives a good feeling of horror if used right. Love poisons is a good fit for this storyMay 2nd, 2014 at 09:53pm -
I suppose I could go down the apothacary root. The belief in simples, tesanes and love posions. Because lets face it, people are still trying to con the world with them now :PMay 2nd, 2014 at 09:49pm

Maybe you'd like a more realistic magic? Direct magic is more based on physics, probability, etc, depending on what type it is. I don't know much about it, but it's fun to research. And cool, I'll read the next chapters X)May 2nd, 2014 at 09:43pm -
I have uploaded another two. I cannot decide if to add magic. They did really believe it existed... but I dont usually like it. Depends how it was done.May 2nd, 2014 at 09:39pm
