I am addicted to House. Yet, I haven't seen the first two series. I only followed the third. Well, the reason I followed the third is because I caught the last episode of the second series. But believe you me, I'll definitely go buy the entire series soon enough.
Dexter is amazing. I've only seen the second series, but I'm going to look for the first one, people say it's better than the second one. I guess it would be better to watch the first series so I will be able to understand the second one more fully. x]
