Yeah, apparently all you girls don't get it, lol. You are lucky, be very glad indeed they leave you be... :P
Thanks, I like poetry personally. It's a bit of an odd thing, most prefer stories and the like, but the last few years, I (being a complete dork) have read quite a few books of poetry... so I wrote a lot too, the ones I have posted are three in about two hundred. :S
Hey Alex, I'm Krissy. Your story is really good it deserves to be commented a lot more. Your horses are beautiful as well. How long have you been riding? I use to have a Morgan when I was younger as my first horse. I loved his gait, smooth yet sassy. Now I don't have as much time to ride. so I'm just using my mares as yard ornaments or for breeding.
I really really like their names : ]
The Friesians have got like.. traditional Friesian names; Jelle & Loukje.
Except Berry is called like.. Berry. HAHA.
I think he's named differently on papers, but like, we'll be calling him Berry and it works.
He's not really small or fruity, though. He's kind of like a big tank to be honest, but it still suits him.
I'm excited for you, starting the little filly. I'm busy starting Berry, I have been for a while actually. He's like seven years old so he's kind of old, but I'm still giving it a shot. We bought him at this age, so.
I tried to start Jelle when he was about 3,5 years old, but I didn't get the right help. Actually, I got help from people who in my opinion only helped me ruin everything I had with him. It didn't work at all and I'm really sorry I ever tried because he's distrusting. They tried to tie his head to the saddlebelt so he wouldn't go up with his front legs, but that was of course a very bad idea.
I, in the meantime thinking he was with professionals...
Anyway, by now I've kind of restored Jelle's trust in me and also the other way around, so we're good. He's a great show-off in front of the carriage, so we just do that with him, instead of trying to ride him.
I'm kind of scared because I'm trying to teach Berry how to ride all by myself. There's no one near me that can help me, except the people who screwed up Jelle so bad, so I thanked them and I'm just going to try it on my own, I guess.
He's a good horse, though, so I'm taking babysteps with him and hoping for the best. : ]
How are you going to train your youngest mare? Do you like get help? Are you gonna be the first to ride her, or are you going to let someone else do it ?
I'm really curious, I love to hear about other people's opinions and experiences and stuff. : ]
See you later! x
Hey, this is a random comment, hope you don't mind. I was skimming the stories page looking for a particular story and i saw your bassists avatar and thought it rocked. Cool pic!!!!! Thought i should comment on it lol. Anywho, hope you didn't mind, have a good evening.

Hii,
yes, my horses are Friesians : ]
The thing with Friesians though; they're way pretty, but they're not very good for riding. Their neck is way strong so it's hard to do dressage on a higher level and they can't jump much, so I usually just ride them on trail rides, out in the forrest and stuff. : ]
I'm totally jealous of your Peruvian Paso and the Morgan gelding!
Dude, those horses are superawesome. Paso's have got their own little walk, right? Next to walk and trot and canter? I think I read something about that.
Oh and the Morgan, you mentioned you ride western, except for the Morgan? What'dyou do with him then?
Don't mind me being curious as hell, lol.
Don't you have any pictures of your horses? They sound lovely. : ]
How long have you been playing bass?
