You copy and paste the coding someone makes for you.
To do that you quote their comment of your signature.

Btw as for sigs go...do u copy and paste them or screenshot n use as img?

About signatures there is a thread in the forums where you can request one, I suck at coding so I ask for one there.
For layouts, you just go to the layout section of poem/blogs or stories depending on what you need and create one. There are articles in the site which can help.
Badges are for when you post books, reviews or articles.
