I really had a laugh at the last one. I#ve never heard of the expression 'to pull one's socks up'. Is that something common? Or is that 'slang' where you live? (where DO you live? lol)
I've never heard it before like I said, but then again that might just be cuz nobody 'round me speaks English as a native speaker hehe all Germans 'round here (what a surprise! lol)
