"You said you'd always be there for me, promised that I'd never be alone." Loki hissed through his teeth as he surged forward on his brother, desperately trying to escape the vacuum that beckoned him from behind.

"It is you who has left me!" Thor's eyes were raging, wild with the hurricanes of his inner turmoil as he tried to force his younger off his heels and into the awaiting cell.

"You're the one who keeps pushing me away," Loki's voice cracked as tears finally breached the flood gates and stung his cheeks with a brilliantly hot, quartz-like glimmer. "You keep throwing me away, crating me like an unwanted mange."

With a certain amount of will power Loki managed to defy the chains that held his ankles and jumped quickly to knee Thor in the chest, ducking then around him as he toppled over. Mjolnir hit him from behind in his lower back on its way to Thor's calling palm. He caught himself on his hands and knees, his back stinging in protest, with a growl worthy of a large rabid beast.

"Why?" Loki sobbed onto the ground as he heard his brother's heavy approach. "Please."

Thor lifted him by the back of his collar and threw the younger over his shoulder, carrying him back to the cell. His face was flat as Loki's tears stained the cloth that covered his back with an angry wetness. When he reached the cell Thor entered before removing Loki from his shoulder. He set the younger down firmly in front of him and with one hand on Loki's frail shoulder he used the other to clean the tears from his reddened cheeks.

"I am sorry, but it has to be this way. Thor was confident in his words despite the mess of inner storms that still played with his emotions.

"No, please." Loki's words were eloquent despite the fear that trembled through his body, he stood tall and held his chin high.

"Loki I hav--"

But before Thor could finish his sentence, Loki had flung his arms around the older and pulled him into a close kiss. It was warm and silken as their tongues danced together in a fragile moment of armistice. For the first time since either could remember they were full and content, satisfied with the nectar that life offered. Quietly Loki's tears begged for his brother's mercy upon him, and on his end the kiss grew desperate. Thor wouldn't be swayed though as he pulled away, carefully removing Loki from his shoulders. The only look Thor offered was of pity, his eyes speaking to the venom that always ruminated in Loki's soul.

Swiftly Thor shoved the younger off of his feet, landing him on his backside, and left the cell unspeaking with a tight lock upon its walls. Loki screeched, crawling to the wall of the cell and pounding on it, trying in a desperate bought of sadism to destroy something, anything. But the cell was empty as his brother walked away, not once looking back to acknowledge the cry that the cell muted.

Oh, I did the Mibba Read-a-Thon-thingy. They gave out special little monikers, it'll be back to normal at the end of the month.

Don't worry, the next 20minutes are the last 20 minutes I'll have until Wednesday, unless a miracle happens which I'm going to try my damnedest to do. Between work and family and school, just oy vey. heh.

I hope your trip is good, you'll have to tell me all about it: the idea of hitchhiking is sorta terrifying to me as, well, an American.

Don't worry about it. I'm usually mobile and able to respond wherever I am (so if anything seems off, let me know; the keyboard of my tablet likes to have a mind of its own sometimes). Though, I'm going with Nick after 6 so I'll prolly quiet down quiet a bit after that; we've a nerdy night planned.

I have this odd feeling that Thor and Loki, at least towards each other, are always angry, sad, or horny: happy is somewhere grey and in between. I'm sure we'll cover the full spectrum well though.

Yes! I agree on every aspect. Though I think I need to work on Loki's dialogue a bit, he currently sounds more like Jon Snow (of George RR Martin's creation) rather than himself....

Everything's fine apart from the usual family drama (he has an older brother who has renounced himself from the family and is moving out of state and yadayada, it's very Loki-esque but shhhhhh don't tell his family I think that ) which is actually quiet right now; his step-mother and I just get along well and she wanted to steal me for some time before I go back out to Cleveland so we had a mini bitch-fest last night in the kitchen over the course of 7 hours and a few drinks. It's nice, but, I need the introverted break from it all after that.

And yays, I managed to post. Though like I said, once school takes flight again I'll be like, well, this on the norm~.

Mean Thor isn't a fun Thor; I like him to be assertive, not sexually rather as a brother, but in a gentle way. Like a momma cougar with her babies or something.

I love the idea of the secret corner of the universe. Thats so adorable. I think that's one we should certainly develop, it'd be a good base setting and it allows for some minor drama in the background as to where they're always disappearing to, or perhaps they miss a battle somewhere/somehow. And we'd have a good way to start it off as well.

Oh, and thanks to the cold that I woke up with: I also like the idea of Thor falling ill and Loki struggling to take care of him, but not wanting to admit that he can't.

That sounds so cool . I havent gotten to let loose like that since, well, for about a year now really. Lucky bitch.

So I sorta came up with some, like, relatively basic ideas that are totally open for adjustment. Uhm. I guess I'll just list them?

Loki gets into a substance habit in Midgard, Thor is sent to save him.
Loki wants to sound Armageddon, if only to freak out the realms.
They at first dont want to accept their attraction to each other.
Odin being an overbearing father, doesnt want Thor to be tainted' Freyja allows them to sneak around and see each other.
Cliff diving in the cosmos.
Drunken dancing.
Soft sleeping scenes after intense fights/arguments; Loki tuckers himself out?
Thor making Loki beg.
Midgardian Las Vegas antics.

Oh, and I think, if you cant tell, it'd be cool if we had a setting between Asgard and Midgard (and really anywhere else we fuckin' feel like); it'd allow for super serious moments and really silly ones (such as trying to work a coffee pot).

Yay! I like that idea, I'll start a journal on my Kindle and then we'll collaborate.

I don't tend to lean towards the action-y ava's of Loki; I just don't see him as that person, especially for all the quotes. He's more of a manipulative little fuck where as his brother is the workhorse.
