I’ve taken to responding to comments left for my fic, NML, via my reader’s profiles rather than the story comment page lately. Why? Well, I’m banned from the boards so this is the only way I [i]can[/i] reply to comments anymore. Them’s the suck, eh?

Ah, well. Anyway. Thanks for the comment! And no, I didn’t come up with the words Jackie said on stage before he began to sign. As I said in the author’s note for that chapter, the words, “[i]May you be in heaven a full half hour before the devil knows you're dead,[/i]” are an old Irish adage of a unknown origin. I’ve always quite liked that quote, and figured I might as well use it. Seemed like something Jackie might like enough to borrow to preface a song with.

As for making a NML song…not right now, no. Song-writing is more like poetry, and I’m…really just fairly awful at poetry. I wouldn’t write a song for them unless I felt I could do it justice, 100%, and I doubt I could. So I wouldn’t expect any songs for them anytime soon to find their way into the story. Sorry. ^_^;

I admit I wasn't exactly sure if I should use cum or came because I've seen it used both ways, and urbandictionary.com defined cum as “1. n. Semen 2. v. To orgasm Usage Note: the word is spelled with a 'u' to differentiate it from 'come,' which has a... cleaner definition.” But then again, urbandictionary is not the most reliable of sources.

My mom is always nagging me about one thing or another, my dad is a cheater, my little brother purposely tries to make my life a living hell, my nana is constantly going into shock because her blood sugar gets too low, my happaw (grandfather) is blind and a four time cancer survivor, my other grandma is annoying as all hell because she says things several times and then sings one word over and over again, and my other granddad is equally as annoying with a hearing problem.

Ah, that's good you had a get-together. I just have family... and they suck.

Maybe if there was a party without the drugs and alcohol, I would be there... Unfortunately, there is never one of those moments.

I just read 'a life i left behind for you' and, well, wow. seriously. fucking awesome. maybe I'm just emotional today or something, but I haven't felt that much for a story in a very long time. Its amazing.

Of course, at this rate, I won't get to have my license before I'm 17. I could have gone to get it at the end of November, but no. This ugly whether my town has been getting forced me to push it back to whenever the weather isn't so disgusting. It is currently very cold, raining, and probably very icy.
