Thanks for commenting on my article "High School Musical: Forced Obsession?" I would like to debate with you on your comment:

"The media isn't out to get every little kid and draw them into a cult, you know.

WHY do people make such a big deal out of things like this?! You don't see people complaining about Harry Potter, or classic disney, or Starwars, and they're just as big as franchises as HSM.

Stop the close-minded paranoia. It's a kids show, and it's no different to the tons of other shows out there that have made franchises out of it.

The next thing you know, people will be complaining that In The Night Garden promotes self-harm in infants or something! *rolls eyes*"

If you're interested, message me back. If not...then...don't answer. But I would like to hear your opinion more on this topic.

I'm doing alright. I have a lot of work to catch up on because I missed school Thursday and Friday and grades for this quarter close at the end of the week. I'm procrastinating by going on Mibba and, now that I've read some of the comments on your comment board, downloading the new Panic! CD. I should probably know some songs for their concert, eh?

It's really good that you write for yourself. It makes the writing easier if you don't let your readers' demands dictate what/when you write. It also makes it easier when you have one night to write 10 inspired poems (a lot when they all have to be on one topic) and just have all this old stuff to draw inspiration from. A few years from now, you'll read some old writing and either say "Where did I get all that crack?" or "Damn, I am so good." Hopefully the latter.

You're welcome. I hope you keep going with it. A lot of girls and boys who love writing at your age get discouraged quickly when middle school teachers (or your area's equivalent) don't fully appreciate their work. The writer gives up, convinced that the teacher knows all and that they will never amount to anything. Trust me, teachers don't know everything. They only know what they have to. But writing is... awesome, in a word. It can take you anywhere. Make anything possible. And if anyone challenges it, you can pull out the Creative Freedom card and everything is right again. But I digress.

    So how are you?

    Urgh, I know.
In my school, if you wear any dark clothes and listen to rock music, you're automatically classified as emo.
    It's so stupid.
Labels are for soup cans, not people. =P

I'm pretty fine and dandy, other than my chest cold that won't go away.
    How about you?

My God, you are a fantastic writer. And you're only eleven? You write better than most people on here and 95% of them are a couple years older than you. Absolutely brilliant. I wish there were more of you on here.

Nawww, you can't be that bad at drawing :)
The teachers at our school are evil and feel it is necessary to give out a skip-load of hmk for the holidays. Stupid teachers. Just cause they don't have lives, doesn't mean we don't either! I think that they are under the impression we enjoy hmk or something

<3 It held some value for me as well because my nan passed from cancer, and I really really wanted to get involved. Sorry to hear about your sister, but I guess it's comforting to know that she had the best possible care and treatment.

Every little bit helps, I suppose. xD
