Straight up? I'd have to say Wolverine, if for no other reason than childhood loyalty.
But my real love for Xmen is the social element, and philosophy behind it.
Did you know that Xavier and Magneto were actually modeled after Martin Luther King and Malcolm X?
And I also just really like the idea of two best friends taking such drastically different paths and different views, and still caring that much. See? I'm lame.

    What about you?

I have been meaning to see it. Under your recommendation I will watch it soon though.

Okay now the important question... Favorite xmen. Or top 5...

    Ha! Good, because they're brilliant.
If you get the chance, I would definitely recommend The King's Speech. It's an almost perfect movie.

Same. Except I sadly haven't gotten my hands on the books *shameface*
    Yet! I plan on it.

So... A beautiful mind and Rocky Horror are two of my favorite films!
But to be honest, I haven't seen The kings speech yet, *hides head in shame*.
Gosh I love xmen. The comics and the films. Anything xmen and you have my attention. Smile

I read somewhere that a classic is a book that "goes on after you've finished" (or something of that nature) and I thought that was very true.
They tap into some human universal, and whatever they have to say is as true and accurate today as last century, you know?

I'm pretty much open to watching anything, and will be happy with it so long as they did it well.
I suppose my favorite movies are a little on the serious, drama side? I've watched A Beautiful Mind and The King's Speech too many times to count ::embarrassed:
And then the really quirky movies, like Rocky Horror, Young Frankenstein, Little Shop of Horrors; and the "hipster" type movies like Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, and Darjeeling Limited, etc.
And yeah, I own every X-Men franchise movie to come out, and will see every comic-to-movie, because.

Oh jeez, thanks so much *stupid grin*
I'm really glad you liked my stuff, that really means a lot.
Gah! To you, too. You flatter me terribly, and you're awesome.

I didn't want to reply until I had looked over all of your drawing, so sorry this is a little late.

I also have a weakness for classic books. There's something in the way they are written that you just don't seen in modern books. Graphic novels are also my guilty pleasure, I'm a big time comic book nerd. Sad but also I love it so I don't care.

Honestly, it's the same as my book taste. I'm open to anything as long as the story is told well. I'm a sucker for tear jerker films and horror (I love to be scared and then snuggle up with someone to protect me, told you I am lame).
And of course anything that has spun out of a comic book, I've consumed like any crazy fan boy *lowers head in shame, but grins* what are your fav movies?

Okay now... You have such an amazing flare in your art. Like really beautiful. Your understanding of form and the surrealistic touch makes them that more special. How are you so talented and cute. It's not fair I say. You have honestly inspired me to draw more. I love the beauty and dark touches to your work. And when you pair them up with quotes, like, just... Gah! That all I can say "Gah!" To you. Amazing!

Now that's I've fan girled - I really like your art work a lot mr. If you can't tell.

Classics are my weakness. I will hoard them, I can't say No.
In addition to classics, I read a lot of popular science authors, and graphic novels on occasion.
I am somewhat of a movie buff, as in, I really love movies, but probably wouldn't win a trivia contest on them, haha. What sort of movies are you into?

I have a half abandoned sketchbook on Tumblr, if you want to take a look?

I'd love to see some of your drawings sometime. I mean so talented with the creativity I bet they are great.

I live in Sydney. I love books. Classics, modern, trashy romances, horror, fantasy. I'm a sucker for a good narrative. Would love to write one.
I also do a little drawing and I'm a big movie buff.

    Ha ha, thanks.
Yeah, I live in the Pacific Northwest. I do a fair amount of drawing in addition to writing. I read a fair amount? Haha.
I am actually in the process of moving up to Washington for school, but until then i'm working at a marina where I teach tourists how to crab.

What do you want to know? What about you?
