Hi there,
Thank you for your speedy reply. I do apologize, but I would like to point out that I was simply working from the information presented to me. There is no way for me to distinguish when the update before last was made, and I was only aware of chapter five being added (I saw Addicted while I was browsing the main story page).
There was also no way for me to know the status was old either, seeing as how you had not dated it. The status option was created to inform readers of the author's general opinions and thoughts -- besides A/Ns. As you had just updated (November 26), I could only assume you had updated your status as well like the majority of authors on Mibba do. Keeping all aspects of a story up-to-date is something everyone expects the writer to do; it's part of their responsibility. A pain in the ass, I'll admit, but it's part of the housekeeping of maintaining a story here. It was just an extremely irritating thing for me, since I noticed that the last four stories you had updated had the same status line; yes, I checked. I didn't just take a shot in the dark with that comment, despite what your impression of me may be. That is why I left my comment, since I observed it was a reoccuring theme.
I'm glad you are no longer demanding comments and updates in exchange for your stories. It shows true appreciate for your readers, and respect for the beauty of writing. I know it's discouraging when your reader count doesn't match the feedback, but I hope you keep this is mind next time you get upset over it.
i've just spent the last couple of days using all my free time to barrel through alll of your stories, and they are awesome! i've had so much fun reading all these different perspectives and details and i cannot wait for you to update the active ones.
