Yeah, I mean our gym is UGLY. But if you put a decent effort into the decoration, then it could look pretty swish, and it's a big room, so it wouldn't be dreadful.
Everyone thought the place would be great, because it was at St James's Park, which is the football stadium in town, but then we must have rented the worst suite there was! which then used up practically the entire budget, so we didn't have anything to spend on decorations.
We should have used the gym and decorated it really nicely.
To be honest, it was fairly rubbish. Everyone dressed up really posh, and then the place we had rented was tiny, and there wern't enough chairs for everyone, and the dance floor was about a metre squared! The DJ kept playing Disney songs! I think he thought because our theme was hollywood... Urgh. You should not be listening to the Jungle Book at a Ball! =P
Aagh! I'm just confusing myself now.
I am going to college, but the Leavers Ball is for everyone, not just the people who are leaving! The yr 13 ball is probably the equivelent of prom.
I am one well-informed person! Useless trivia just sticks.
Important stuff does not...
I always have random nightmares about forgetting my exams and failing all of them, or turning up at school to realise that it's prom and I'm not wearing anything!!!
Well, both Benin and Ethiopia both have tons of tribal languages, but both of them speak French as the main language, because they got colonised, so I only know French. I used to know how to say Hello in fulani, but I've forgotten it.
Yep, I do at the moment. And I think I'm staying here for a while! :)
My life has been pretty confusing country wise, as I've lived in England, France, Ethiopia, and Benin... ^_^
Yep, it pretty much rains all the time. Now our summers have started turning up in Spring because of Global warming, and summer has turned into one long downpour. We're lucky if we get a weak of straight sun.
Well, I can't remember much, except that we got lots of snow at one point and I fell into a snow drift above my mouth, which wasn't terribly pleasant.
The weather was both hotter and colder than England.
Yeah, we went off to be missionaries for a while, and the country we were based in spoke french as the main language. So we had to go to France for 6 monthes to learn french. I've just about forgotten all of it.
Someone can speak to me, and I'll vaguely understand them, but I can't speak back.
Un fusee! (Rocket!!)
J'aime la colour vert...
All I know for languages is if you can find someone to speak it to you regularly, you'll pick it up a lot faster. My parents both speak french fairly well, so I listen to them a lot.
Best thing is to listen to a native speaker though, because then you understand the context and pronunciation of stuff. ^_^
wooo i have a best friend-i mean another best friend....*cough*
yayy!!!!!!! And a Happy Green Day to all!!!!! i love the FHT too...*gets cheesy grin on face*
i know!!!! it's so sad!!!
they're all My Chemical Romance fanatics....not that i have a problem with that, i just miss when everyone was a huge Green Day fan, now it's seems like everyone's forgotten them....Ooo, and just to make sure, you do know they've come out with stuff as the Foxboro Hot Tubs right?
