Hmm, that's odd. I did my profile over a year ago so things might have changed in the setting up process. Your best bet would be to go to a help forum on here. There's a bunch that give help on creating layouts and setting up your profile.

Okay, so for my layout I just picked it from one of the premade ones here in the sight. Anything you want to do to change the way your profile looks is under the Profile bar on the right of the screen. You can pick one that is already made or create your own. As for changing the color of the text, all you do is [color=then put down the hml color code here]type what you want here[/color], and you get color. Try this site for colors: http://www.html-color-codes.info/. If that doesn't work, you can just type in basic colors like green, orange, yellow, etc. If you want to know anything else just ask.
