Yea know exactly what you mean,
my mother works early mornings and late nights, same with my dad since he got a new job, and my grandmother takes care of me sometimes, or its my older sister, who thinks I should bow down to her feet since she's older than me. and to make up for their absence they buy me gifts, my recent present was a black bangle from New York City. So i know how it is to want your parents because u dont have them. and all the kids in my class are like oh my mom is a stay at home and I hate it all she does is hover over me. Well my mom doesn't all she does is gets me gifts when she's gone. She doesn't even care how I do in school anymore.
But whatever I dont want to through this on you.

best night of my life.
I didn't do any of my hw cause I was busy following the elections. It was just me and my dad up when we found out at 11 and I was trying to do my french hw and on my computer screen I was on BBC which was updating all the electoral votes and literally OUT OF NOWHERE Obama's numbers go WAY up and you only need 270 to win and it went past 270 and I was completely frozen. and then i was said to my dad who was half-asleep watching the news, "um, dad...I think Obama just won." and then it registered and I started like shrieking and I woke up my whole family and we watched mccain and obama's speeches.
McCain was really good actually, I had a lot of respect for him after I heard him. And obama's was SOOO good!! And his kids are so cute!!! = ]
