woo, redheads are awesome (my best friend is one) :)
I'm excited for your story; I'm not big on television (in fact, I barely watch it at all) but tonight I watched an episode of Criminal Minds with my mom because I remembered that you were going to start a story about it...

I know. But who knows? You could wholly disagree with me.

...I doubt you will, but you know. It could happen. :P

I honestly have no real opinion on Rossi... but I never really cared for Gideon all that much, either. I don't know... I just find both of the characters sort of unnecessary...?

I think the problem is now that they've got some ratings and a larger fan following, they're trying WAY too hard to make it crazy. Like, the older episodes were darker but far more intriguing... they made the killers sadistic but not overtly insane. It's like they're going more for shock value and "look at what crazy thing we can come up with next" than storyline, which bothers me. A lot. Plus, this whole hooplah with J.J. leaving and Prentiss getting reduced as a character makes me a bit upset. Admittedly, J.J.'s storyline had been reduced entirely to "everytime there's a kid, we make her cry and freak out, but other than that, she's off-screen," but it didn't have to be that way. They never did that to Hotch, even though he has a son, even after Haley died. Then they basically eliminated Prentiss as a character, even though they never really explored her potential in the first place.

...so, long story short, they've lost sight of the characters and decided to become a showboat for fake blood and macho bravado. :\

It would be awesome if I did. But there's always hope, right? :P

It's okay to hate Rossi. Is there a reason, though? I always hated Elle, before she left... And Kate, on NCIS. For some reason, the two of them always struck me as really tiresome characters with flat personalities.

I actually asked if you had seen it only because I'm losing my love for the series, slowly but surely. But I won't talk to you about what happened if you haven't seen it yet. :\

    Clearly. :P

I'm good. Stressed, but good. I had to sing at a Mass for school today, which was sort of reminiscent of being led to slaughter, but other than that... and college applications... I'm good.

No, I'm do not genuinely live in Fiji. It's gorgeous, though, and I want to spend time there.

On a random note, did you watch Criminal Minds this week?

That's what I do, and it seems to work. And, of course, I'll have to read whatever you come up with. I'll just have to. :)

    Hmm... let's guess. :)

That's exciting! Let me know what you end up with. I love that name, especially "Imogen." My friend's mother is named Imogene, and it's really an interesting name...

And on a completely random note, I've been watching the original 1981 premiere broadcast of MTV on YouTube. My God, what's happened since then? It was so awesome... and now, MTV has been reduced to autotune and pregnant 17-year-olds. :\

Papers are never fun, but I would think something more creative like what you have to do would be more entertaining than a regular analytical piece. Or, at least, I prefer creativity to analysis. I had to write my college application essay, and I got to write a narrative, which was so much better for me than writing some cliche spiel about how much volunteering with bratty four year olds meant to my life. :|

My friend just got me into his stuff, and I can't stop. Why are all the good comedians already dead by the time I get around to appreciating them? :(

    Yesssssssssssssssssssss. :P

Oh jeez. You have been watching too much Criminal Minds.

...but still not as much as me. :P

It doesn't help that they frequently play marathons of the show on both ION and A&E simultaneously. I can't deny that!

I'm pretty good. A little discontented by the general lack of understanding displayed by certain parental members of my family, but life is in general okay. How are you?

You're one in only about five or six who've ever agreed with me. Which is lame. But, it's okay.

I absolutely love his bit about Sean Connery and James Bond. It's absolutely hysterical.

I love Craig Ferguson! I literally just bought his stand-up special from Barnes and Noble the other day. He's absolute insane, but its hilarious. :D

And, in my mind, he's the only funny late-night tv show host.

Yay! I must read! I shall go read. :)

Haha, "commercial break" equalling "okay, now how to I follow THAT up?" time. :P

And, thank you. Again. Because you made me smile. :) <-- Like that.

Haha, that's awesome. I used to get super excited whenever there was an update from 'The Now or Never Kind,' so I think I know the feeling. :P

Sounds like you had fun. Castles are so awesome, aren't they? As are fortresses and the like. Particularly in Europe, but hey. Everything in Europe is awesome. :)

I just got off a conference call regarding an opera I'm stage-managing starting this Wednesday, so my day's been a little less exciting than yours. Now I'm listening to Pearl Jam and researching ideas for the show. And writing, because I'm having trouble focusing on my research. :P
