Bandit is, apparently, a girl. Which is cool. If you're ever on twitter, Alicia, and Jon Rivera, both sent tweets saying it's a girl. Rock on!

Hope all else is well with you and that you get your comp back soon. Listening to 21st Century Breakdown...RIGHT NOW!!

Hey girl how have you been??
You'll never guessed what happened to me!
I saw Green Day at Webster Hall in NYC last week, I won tickets!!
I was in the second row and I was like 12 ft. away from Billie Joe!
Then later on I got pushed back about 10 or 12 rows but it was amazing to be so close to my freaking idols!! Ahh!

Oh my, I keep trying to get to that message you sent, but life is . . . so hectic. Between school and track, I am so completely swamped -- especially since I'm trying to sneak some writing in as well! Anyway, I WILL get to that lovely message when the opportunity presents, and I hope you're doing well!
Love you!
(By the way, the ending of Beyond Paradise was perfect, girl! I loved it!)

I remember the first comment you left on my article, and regarded it then as the highest compliment I had yet been paid. Now you've followed it with one that surpasses it, and leaves me fairly breathless.

Perhaps it is a consequence of the life I have had to live (and that, in my immense foolishness, I have chosen) that I have not, for many years, it seems, been able to think of myself as young. When I truly was a boy, I would look down from my bedroom window and watch old men poke their way with bent backs and proud faces past me on street below, and I would be filled with envy. I wanted their memories, and the serene simplicity that only age can imbue; but more than this, I wanted to know - as they knew - that all had been done that could have been done, and their time for enduring the pains of terrestrial life was mercifully near its appointed end.

Now that I have memories of my own to make my heart groan and my hands tremble, I have confirmed again that there is no inherent virtue in youth. The young are only so much stronger to carry out the follies for which their ignorance predisposes them, while flouting the odious figure of Mortality and the weeping muse of Empathy that can alone preserve us from arrogance. The consequence of belonging to a generation that venerates youth over age, is that folly and impudence have been made virtues, and the future is so obscure as to be beyond - or beneath - consideration. Hence we have the world in its present state: an age of selfishness and depravity; the dullest of times, blinded by its own facile lustre.

Putting this digression aside, I see in your words the evidence of a reality I have hastened to avoid, that the young cannot understand my writing. I might call this unfortunate, since I am still considered young, and don't think that I have very much to teach the generations before mine, which they ought not to have learned already. But it could be, as you suggest, that age has no bearing on the matter, and we are both merely awaiting the unlikely few who - regardless of age or youthfulness - seek out what is timeless, and find it in us.

Thank you, dear lady, for the kindest compliment I have ever been paid. I contend with myself, whether Mibba is the correct place to publicize my scribblings, especially when they explore matters on the "deep end" of thought, at the brink of which many of today's youth - and their elders - are accustomed to turning back. You have undoubtedly helped to assure me that my voice is not altogether lost, and neither is the world's interest in pursuing a dialectic that is as harrowing as the dilemmas from which it arises.

I miss you, Lee, come back to me :(
I've been bopping 'round this site for the last couple of weeks since I have 100% intranet access, and I miss your sweet updates!
and you know what I was thinking? [mind you, this may be way out of the box and sound completely weird] you could write a "Bike" fan-fic so beautifully...
I'm just too obsessed with that pairing, and since I love your work, I think you're portrayal of BJ/Mike would be perfect...

so this was a totally random, Molly-misses-Lee comment. hope everything's going well! <3
