We've recorded guitar parts so far for Stay Away. I'm working over bass line, drums might be a problem... and one guy will sing this. I wonder what would they do if I'd give them a 'love song' ]x-> It Seemed is just a result of being extremaly depressed. It's my own song, which only I work over. ^^ Only one guy know about it. The other would decided how this would sound the moment he'd see the lyrics. We've got quiet a problem with what we want. I'm into stuff like GD, 80's punk, etc. and they're mostly into progressive rock and some stuff like Queen. That means... long songs. I guess here's the whole problem in this band ^. -

You played in a band ^^ Had to be really cool ^^ I was never really good with chords on my classic guitar, but when my friend got an electric guitar suddenly we learned most of Green Day songs and some of Metallica. Guitar solo's worked for me the best since the begining, so I thought that playing bass might be easy for me. I remember how I worked over solo to When I Come Around. some part in the tabs I had was missing >.> I'm not good in theory either, so when it comes to remembering where different sounds are on guitar then I got some problem with this. The same with building chords etc. If Green Day come on the next tour to Poland I'm sneaking backstage for sure. Even if it's only to ask Mike some tips about playing guitar. My friend would do something like this only to see Tre hehe. I'm torturing her with his pics since I caught her staring at the photo on my desktop ]x-> funny how my friends get addicted to Green Day after some time spent with me... ; >

I guess I missed them too. Part of me wanted to go and other part didn't. My grandma was calling everyday >.> Every free day is a lucky day. I can't imagine how hard it might be when I'll start working o.o Only 2 weeks and horrible work with horrible boss >.> That's why everyone might miss school... 2 months of holidays and some other different stuff during this school months..

I do write, I just haven't written for quite some time now. I was hoping that being part of the Mibba community would help inspire me to write again. I love doing it but college has become my biggest excuse as to why I have such little time to devote to it.

Actually, you didn't xD If you didn't do that I'd never realize you're updating that story. So, yeah. I already read all the parts by now ^^

I don't know if you've read, but I posted two songs here on mibba. On 'Stay Away' we're working currently. My friend sent me two days ago a better, faster version without boring begining. I wanted it to sound fast and somehow.. punk. Well, now when it's faster I can't complain and work on my bass line ^^ I just hope that I can do that... my skills are not too good. I can play only Green Day songs and Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo hehe xD I even dreamed about asking Mike how the heck he plays one part in Longview before playing verse again >.> that's bothering me a little. : /
If you want I can send you the parts we recorded for the song so you could tell me if it's any good ^^ We need to meet and record it finally... : /

You play bass?! O.O That's really cool ^^ I can't really play bass. I'm more of a failed guitar player that rocks at learning solo's so bass sounded like... playing lots of solo stuff o.o bass is hardcore! xD you know, you can always visit with your daughter for Opener Festival. I'll bring bass and who knows.. we might end up on stage : p what are you using for learning bass?

My parents returned and I was out with a friend... she called me almost yelling why I'm not home hehe. she was angry that i didn't call for almost 2 weeks. Well, then she thought I was on a date and she felt bad O.o Damn. Sometimes I wish she knew I'm not a person to date someone..

I regreted that I didn't go, cos I could write stories and all that stuff in Croatia and swim a lot, but then I can go anywhere I want etc.. friends can sleep at my place, so if they are here than it's okay. My insomnia's got worse during this time my family's gone.. I got no idea.. maybe that's some kind of fear of being alone...
August is the best time for resting xD My parents are leaving to Croatia always around July and that's not exactly the time I'd like to leave. With famaily, when you can't take friends it's not exactly fun.
But reasting on the beach is a great idea xD It's refreshing and the water is great xD

Well, I noticed I got enough cash just when the festival started. No one that really cool played. At least I didn't listen to preforming people.
Threre was Jay-Z, Goldfrap(?), The Chemical Brothers, Interpol, lots of polish bands, they had there theatre and cinema this year too. Good weather, sea really close, suburbs of my city.. 50 000 people (even from different parts of Europe) I was there only to visit my grandma. I'm going next year. xD

Wraped Tour sounds like fun.. damn. too bad it's not here too. : )

Well, I realized I don't wanna be single later.. it's too troublesome.. and living alone is just boring. I've got last week of my parents being in Croatia and me being home alone. I've got friends now at home. We're going to watch The Messangers later xD

First off-- you're right. Every song they've ever made has meant more than words to me-- their music is more than lyrics and instruments-- their music is really about emotion. That's what they always bring me. Never failed me yet, really! :D
