I haven't read any of those but Trainspotting is definitely on the list of ones I NEED to read. Mostly because I loved the movie, have you seen the movie?

New York is nice. You want to go to a school in the city, right? I actually lived about 6 hours away from New York City. Where I lived was out in the country and quite pretty. I went to NYC a couple of times, but I'm not too fond of it. Everyone else loves it though, so don't pay any attention to my opinion, lol.
