I'm doing alright. I just watched Control, this film based on Ian Curtis's live {the lead singer of Joy Division}, and it was really heartbreaking. I mean, I know he dies and all, but they way they did it was just..really emotional. Ergh.

Don't be sorry for stating your opinion! If I were diabetic, or anemic, or anything else, I would still choose to be a vegan, because of my morals, also. I don't take vitamins, and I'm fine. People are all different, of course, though. I personally have a very cheap diet...vegetables, fruits, lentil soup, vegan ramen, vegan cereals, peanut butter, soymilk. I can go to the store and buy a week's worth of groceries for ten bucks. Whether a person is a vegan or a vegetarian, they don't need the special, expensive "vegan/vegetarian" stuff.

I guess I did generalize my confession, but I only know a few people who have actually complained their arse off to me about their "health issues" that were caused by their "vegetarianism." And, I know one of these people very well, and they have plenty of money. They have at least three Xbox 360s, a Wii, DS, all the Playstations, internet, nice computers for everyone in the family...and yet this person still didn't eat what they needed to. For this person, their issue was the protein. "Oh, well I hate peanut butter. Oh, I hate beans. The only kind of protein I like is meat." And it's just, like, what the fuck? I don't like swearing, but, REALLY. You blame your illnesses on vegetarianism, just because you didn't eat what your body needed? And this person had the money, they were just too lazy to find a source of protein that they liked, nor just forced themself to eat beans once a day for the sake of their health.

Said person is diabetic and anemic, among other things. This is what pisses me off. They could live a perfectly healthy vegetarian lifestyle, and they still could, but still they refuse to educate themselves.

Anyways, don't be sorry. :) I might snap at someone who said something I highly disagreed with on an emotional level, also.
