I get to be a campaign worker for four days upcoming. Not that bad, I walk door-to-door and canvass people and hold signs.
BUT TODAY WAS A TRAINING SESSION. Okay, we were ALL told it was a one-hour training session. They neglected to mention that the next hour and a half after that we would be standing all alone on a street corner on the edge of a highway, in the cold, in the dark, holding up a motherfucking campaign sign at traffic.
