To be honest, I'm glad I don't live in the big city. I've been to Sydney a couple of times, and it both blew my mind and freaked me out. Everything is so big and loud, and the crowds are crazy.
Heh, I figured you might not be from Zimbabwe. I've never been to the States. I'm actually from Australia, and have spent most of my life living in rural parts of it without running water or running internet. I now live closer to town for university, so my internet exists, it's just craptastic.
I've been on this site for about two years. I lose track of exactly when I joined. I've mostly been active for that time, but I have periods of lurking, normally when exams are on, or if the school term is really hectic.
I've deleted my old stuff, not because it was angsty, but just because it was bad. I think everyone looks back on their old writing and is horrorfied. Yesterday I even looked at a published book of mine from earlier this year and cringed. It's just the way of it. At least it means we're improving.
Nah, not pointless at all! I love new friends, so welcome aboard! Most of my old friends jumped ship when the site changed.
I take it you're not actually 71? Is your Mibba age a clever reverse of your real age, like mine? Because if so, we have at least one thing in common. What kinds of things did/do you like to do here? Read, write, blog, design?
