    According to a Penobscot website, Gluscabi and Malsum were the two brothers who were the teachers of the Penobscot way of life. They didn't actually have a big fight or anything, but they did live with their Grandmother Woodchuck! So the characters are based in actual myth, but the story was of my own creation.
