I kinda enjoy these random messages from people I don't know. Granted, this is my first, if I recall correctly. My name starts with an S and that's all I'll give out. Nothing much, had a test about sex today, since we were working on that. I did reasonably well, I belive. On monday we're going to talk about the French revolution. Blegh. Kill me now. Oh well, gotta suck it up and deal. That's life. My sister's having a party tonight and I'm forced unwillingly to babysit my younger siblings. This is turning out to be the best friday so far. Mark the bitter sarcasm. And if I might quote myself "gotta suck it up and deal. That's life." Soo.... Carolina, what did you do today?

yeah my new class is the same
i have a few close friends in it but besides that i don't really know anyone
but it's getting better so oh well :)

school keeps getting cancelled here lately :S
well not cancelled...but they can't take buses through fire zones anymore because of all the bush fires happening lately
so pretty much no one comes
in my year level there is about 350 people....and last time they cancelled all the buses only 12 showed up...
so yeah no school for me again tomorrow

yeah my school is more into athletics
but we have the most advanced school in the area by far
we have a [i]huge[/i] list of possible classes we can take
in fact every friday VCE students from other schools come to take our classes because they don't offer them at their own school
its pretty awesome

eh me and my brother share a computer normally so my laptop comes in handy. especially at night when i'm talking to people when my parents think i'm in bed. aaaaand it has a webcam :)

well this is how school works here:
we have 1-2 years of kindergarten
then we start primary school when we're 6. primary school starts at 'prep' then has grades 1-6
then we start high school which is year 7-12 but some people choose to drop out and got to tafe or something after year 9
then after alll that (we graduate when we're 18 years old) you can either start work, take a tafe course or go to university (thats what we call college)
and thats it :)

yeah we call it year 10, year 11, year 12 etc. too.
our school gave us all laptops this year though :D
well...they didn't technically give them to us...depending on what laptop we ordered its $150 - $300 a year...but considering i only have 2 more years of school after this one and after that i don't have to pay anymore, its still a hell of a lot cheaper than it should be.

That's so amazing! Where I live, it doesn't get cold... So I wouldn't know what you mean! So you did the foreign exchange thing, huh? Was everyone nice to you?

i started year 10 like 3 weeks ago...that means more homework than usual :(
3 different guys have admitted to liking me...yet i'm still single :(
and i have a maths test on Monday...[i]fun[/i]...i really hate algebra haha

haha i'm sunburned at the moment
but i'm really pale so i burn easy
lol i got burnt waiting for a bus with my best friend. i was wearing a singlet so its like all red around my chest and my shoulders
its painful :S

haha i've hardly even left my own state before let alone my country
but going to america would be cool

i've got my brothers valadictory coming up soon
its sort of like a graduation
but it should be fun, i get to get all dressed up and stuff :D

yeah i have to go back to school tomorrow for an orientation day and to get my report but it will only take like 2 hours
