Music began to play from the speakers. It was slow and began with a piano. It was... [i]tasteful[/i] he realized with slight shock. Slowly, a spotlight found its way to the figure on stage and she began to move.

Out like a flame, and you can't find it anymore
Just when you think it's lost in the rain
It comes back knocking at your door[/i]

Carrie Underwood's voice was a soothing sound compared to the horridly mixed pop songs he had been hearing all night. The girl wasn't very tall and was on the thin side. She had the body of a dancer and her ebony hair was pulled up in a tight bun on her head. She hadn't much make-up on, he realized, which was odd. Just enough that she didn't look pale in the bright light. She was, in few words, breathtakingly beautiful.

The song began to move in a faster pace, and she followed it. Unlike the robotic looking girls before her, she moved with a passion, one that looked just as fierce as his for music. Mixing modern moves with classic, more old-schooled ones, she danced with a slight smile on her face. She was also intensely concentrated in what she was doing.

Oh and I'm babysitting my nephew right now and he is simply adorable.

I put him in his crib so he could take a nap and I keep hearing him in there talking and giggling. It's the cutest thing.

That nap is going really well...

lol yeah i started a nick one too, but i'm behind on both of them now lol. i just suck at keeping on top of things, but i've been super busy with school, and homework, and doing ungodly amounts of cleaning lately that its been hard to find time. lol but anyways, eh, life is ok. i'm not happy that obama one. whatever. politics suck anyways. lol i didnt want mccain to win either, but i liked him a little better i guess. haha, my mom totally did a write in though for nick j and i high fived her for it lol. he will mr. prez one day, the world knows it.
