I just started reading Forgetmenots and Second thoughts. I wanted to tell you that you are a fucking fantastic writer! This story already has me completely anxious to see what happens next and Im only on ch.4 :)
I hope you feel better now :) I kind of got that last week too o.O
I'm okay. I went out shopping with my friends today and I swear that being in love makes people totally brainwashed -.- I've got some projects coming up and.. did I tell you that I have the second chapter of that Green Day story written up? It's just that I can't somehow get back into writing : /
Well, as I said in my comment, I wasn't really wearing my glasses either and everything hurts my eyes then. I put them on and it's perfectly fine. However, I would suggest you ask someone else that doesn't have poor eyesight like I do. The font is perfectly fine when I have my glasses on though.
My family went to see Hairspray two or three years ago, my mom took two of my friends and I to see Mamma Mia! for my birthday once, and I saw American Idiot twice. (The second time seeing AI, my mother literally got two of the last available seats. And when we actually went to the theater, almost everyone was wearing some kind of Green Day shirt and I felt all left put because I had decided against wearing my American Idiot t-shirt that day.
I have never seen Wicked! For my birthday, it came between that and Mamma Mia! and my friends picked that one 'cause neither of them had seen it. And that WOULD be weird. Maybe we sat next to each other and we didn't realize it until now! :D
Yeah, during "Last Night on Earth" I swear I got chills. I was like... O.O
Right before "St. Jimmy" my mom leaned over and said, "My heart is really pounding right now."
And then there was one, two, ONE TWO THREE FOUR! and the screaming commenced.
My entire family saw it together in July, which means that I've seen three Broadway shows, but I've seen a Broadway show a total of four times. Living an hour away (by train) from New York City does have some perks.
The first time he did the role for the one week back in October, my mother got me tickets and we went to the Saturday matinee. I'm pretty sure she was more excited about it than I was, and I'm sure you can imagine how that could be awkward.
Ah, okay, I was curious. I've been reading them and they're quite good.
*skims through journals*
YOU MET BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG. YOU TALKED TO BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG. YOU, MY FRIEND, ARE LUCKY.
Yes, that'd be so amazing. I got into My Chemical Romance at the right time, so that might end up being my first concert, if my parents can get over the fact that it's a general admission venue and I can find a friend who wants to go with me.
But yes, and they need to play in the PNC Arts Center again, cause it's not too far from my house. And I need to not be going to New York that week.
Random question, have you read the Hunger Games books?
I tried to write a story once (that I still might write and try to get published) about three best friends who go off concert-chasing the Green Day tour. I have a list of the tour dates bookmarked on my computer.
And I KNOW!!! I tried to talk my dad (he's a big GD fan too) into letting me go to either the one in Camden on August 3rd, 2010 (I live in New Jersey) or the one in Holmdel on August 14th. It looked like I might have gone to the one in Holmdel for a long time... until, my parents decided to drag my brother and I to Long Island for the entire summer. I went home to go to a friend's party on the 13th, and left on the 14th.
And I learned that my friend was going to that concert with her sister. And I'm pretty sure I saw their car driving into the parking lot of the venue as my dad and I were driving by on our way to New York... grr...
My username and the fact that I write Green Day fiction gave it away, didn't it? XD
Yes, I'm a huge Green Day fan.
YOU WENT TO THAT CONCERT IN MONTREAL!! Lucky you! (I'm so pathetic. I have never been to a concert.)
