It's great, and I'm trying to get as many people to read it as possible--it changes people.

He left a few months ago. Apparently it's not nearly as bad as what it was, but there's this continuing sense of sorrow that fills the place after all that happened a few years ago. He should be back by October of next year.

It's hard for me, I'll start off my saying that, but it was something I need to do.

I read about the war a lot--especially Vietnam and the Iraq War, and that's made me book smart, but one book changed the way I saw everything. The book was called [i]What Was Asked of Us[/i] by Trish Wood and Bobby Muller, but the stories were told me actual Iraq War vets. It was beautiful and dreadful at the same time, and really gave me insight into a soldiers thoughts and feelings both before and after war. I definitely recommend you read it if you can find it or you get the chance because it was so amazing, and you'll like it 20 times more than you liked Love is a Battlefield.

Thanks a lot for your comment--it means a lot to me that people read that story and that it's, apparently, changing some people's lives. It's pretty cool that something that started as me releasing some pain and anger from my brother going to war turned into something life changing...So thank you, thank you, thank you.

If I were to post it on TBP.net, I'd prefer to do it myself, but as of the moment, I'm quite busy, and won't post it anywhere else but mibba. Maybe one day, when I'm not busy I may post something on that site. But right now, Mibba is the place I like to post stuff.
