i actually liked the book a lot in its early days of coming out, but then the internet exploded with all these 'twi-hards' obsessing and raving over how much they looooooooved edward and then it started to really annoy me. i mean, it's sad that someone would get that way over a fictional character. and the whole series is just insidiously popular now, and the more popular something gets the less i like it. so yeah.
