I didn't post chapter three because I didn't like what I've written so far, and I have not met any angry readers yet. =P

Tut tut. What books is it you had to read and school and didn't like? I'm pretty impressed that you still got an 80 on a test when you hadn't actually read the book - there's no way I would have been able to get away with that at my school!

Hospitals are too sterile and they remind me of death. It's depressing. And I hate general anaesthetics - I always wake up afterwards feeling rubbish; all I want to do is go back to sleep, and I can't. But your hospital experience sounds a lot better than mine - [i]I[/i] didn't get to watch a movie as I was falling asleep!

We call it Halloween too - it was our holiday before it was yours, remember? XP But for some reason it's not as big a deal over here as it is in America now. Trick or treating isn't done that much here - it's considered almost rude to knock on a stranger's door and ask for sweets. (That's the English for ya.) I never trick or treated when I was younger. But we do have parties, although they're mostly just an excuse to get drunk. XD I'm going as a vampire this year, I think. Last year I was an alien. ^.^ What about you?

Sorry... I don't get homework. XP What I do get is reading to do from books, which we then have to discuss in our seminars. But you learn in the first year of uni that it's very easy to get away with not actually doing the reading. XD

Ouch, poor you. That really sucks about your ankle. How did you sprain it? And how on earth can you actually [i]like[/i] hospitals?

Haha I'm glad you and your sister liked the chocolate. I think I've managed to get a total of 4 Americans hooked on it so far. Only 305,396,996 left to go!

I'm glad your story with the English character is coming along nicely. But you're right, it's probably a good idea to work on [i]Love and War[/i] more first. You don't want to end up like me and have a total of five stories on the go at once. XD

But things over here have been pretty good for me at the moment. I've been back at university for just over a week now. It's nice to catch up with all my friends, because I didn't get to see them much over the summer. I only have six hours a week of lectures, which is cool. And I should be used to it by now, but I always forget how messy my housemates are, so I spent [b]two hours[/b] cleaning the kitchen today. It was like a pig sty. Yuck.
