Hmmm, I hear ya. When Dimitri, being one of my favorite characters, "died", I cried. Literally. I sobbed.
But, I can see why she did it. I mean, the next two books (according to her website, there will be two more) would be a bit dull if this one ended happily. I think that what happened to Dimitri really enhanced the story, even if the readers were upset. I mean, he's not really dead or anything, and that shows the Richelle both cares about her characters [unlike JK Rowling, who, in my opinion, focuses more on the plot than the characters' well-being] and knows how to enhance a story and take it to a whole new level.
My opinions, though. -_- I told this to my friend Sarah, and she email-slapped me. She loves Dimitri @_@ Heheh, not like that though. As a character.
I'm sad! I wish someone could've gotten to him sooner and at least tried to save him but I guess they had to save themselves. It'll be interesting to see how the next book is and what'll happen.
oh great last nite i watched an episode.. my mom says and i quote "NO! NEVER, NOT WHILE U LIVE IN THIS HOUSE" unqoute. why must parents be overly protective?
