Shakespeare takes some getting used to, but they're great stories. I haven't read any Stephen King yet. I've heard he ends up rushing the endings because he doesn't want to stop writing and the publishing company makes him pull something out of the air. XD Do you have any specific books I should read? I'm going back to the library today. Sherlock Holmes needs to go home after being renewed three times.
Favorite author, favorite author...hm...so far I'd have to say Bram Stoker. I bet if he were brought back from the grave, he could kick the crap out of Stephenie Meyer. Mentally AND physically. Oh, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes ftw. :D I'm such a sucker for classics. But not that many of them. XD
Heey, um I saw your profile on a forum post for Mibba Signatures, and anyways, I was wondering if you could tell me what kind of font style your signature is? It wasn't on the BBCode Tutorial thing, and I can't find it anywhere.
Yeah. To be honest, I'm not really looking forward to it. I hate being all dressed up and feeling so exposed. I don't see myself anywhere near a beautiful person on the outside. I hate my body, if I'm being honest. Hopefully I'll find someone enjoyment from it though.
Hm, I guess you should at least have the option of going to prom, but to be honest, I'd prefer just a crappy formal. I mean, it wouldn't be such a big hassle then, right? I hate all the drama that's involved with it. I try to avoid it as much as possible. So far I've succeeded.
Gatecrashing? Sounds fun. Wish I could go! :)
Yeah, 23 school days... not counting weekends or anything. The seniors' last day is May 22. I cannot wait to get out of that place. I hate it.
Of course. I mean, you use proper grammar and seem to have cool ideas about things... ideas that are original and such... nonconformed. I like that. :)
The original version has some parts that the director's cut doesn't, and it leaves out some parts as well. Like, all the parts in the director's cut that actually shows the pages from the book and explains the Living Receiver and stuff, but the original version doesn't have any of that, so it's kind of confusing, yet the ending is completely different, so you still can understand it in a way. -shrugs-
My friend liked it, I think. I asked her and she said she wants to see the director's cut, so I'm guessing she did. lol She made a Frank pepper shaker, so I guess that's a sure sign that she definitely did. XD
I'm not sure what his work would be classified as other than young adult. Maybe a bit on the philosophical side? He wrote Looking for Alaska (which is my favorite and I had him sign when I met him), Paper Towns (his newest novel), and An Abundance of Katherines. He also wrote a collaboration book called Let it Snow and is currently working on another collab book. :) He's super awesome. Him and his brothers also created Nerdfighters on Youtube. It's pretty much made of win. :D
I've never read anything by Stephen King. I know I should, but I just haven't had the chance. I think I might read that one famous series of his... Dark Tower... I think that's what it's called. A friend recommended it to me once. I read a synopsis of it and it sounded pretty good. I refuse to read "It" though. That movie left me terrified of clowns, even to this day.
It's cool that you got into his books because of your dad. My dad reads all this science fiction crap that I wouldn't dream of reading. I like science fantasy. -shrugs-
Awe, I like chatting with you as well. Until very recently I hardly talked to but a few mibbians every once in a great while. It's nice to be able to come home and have comments from people who actually care. :)
:arms:
Wow, it's cool that you're off school for that long. You're so totally lucky!
I just got my prom ticket yesterday. I can't believe I'm actually going. It's such a friggen hassle. lol Only 23 days of school left though. -attempts not to go insane- lol
I hope you do well on those tests. I'm sure you will. You seem like a very intelligent person! :)
My day was pretty good. I watched the original version of Donnie Darko with a friend who'd never seen it before, so that was interesting. I'd never seen that version before either. I'd only seen the director's cut. -shrugs-
My favorite author? Hm, I'd have to say that would be John Green. He's amazing. :cute: How bout you?
Yeah, I know what you mean.
I get something new out of it each time I watch it.
It's so good!
I've never seen the version that isn't the director's cut.
I need to do that.
I'm excited about S. Darko, even though it's not the same writer or director, because it takes place in the future, after Donnie dies, and it's about Samantha, and I think she starts seeing weird things as well. I hope it's good.
I've always said getting an eye-full on websites as well. It makes more sense, doesn't it? :XD
