I think it's more that Mikey thinks bill's attractive and awkward enough for him, but I dont know, I haven't developed that front mentally yet.
Also I'm sure there will be more trouble in paradise. But in the end I think it works out. Who knows! Maybe mikey will get bill and trav and danny will be together and there will have to be a sequel with more trav and danny where gabe tries to win bill!
