Heya! Happy early birthday!!
I'm sending some randomocity your way: I remember you commenting on my Alex Gaskarth 'My Heart Would Say Amen' and just wondering if you're still reading or lost interest. It's just my first 'epic' story posted so I'm curious. You really truly need not comment if you don't want to. But I like honesty-and hey-even if ya fell out of interest you can tell me. Not like I can go hunt ya down and beat ya up (now before you cringe with fear-know that i'm joking. i couldn't even pin the skin back on a dead frog in science.)
Are you thinking how weird that was? Good. Me too.
Thanks!March 31st, 2009 at 11:39am -

YAY recommendations...::rolling up sleeves::
Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clarke. City of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass. (i think thats the right order) Dealing with shadowhunters aka nephilim and trying to make peace with the downworlders (vampires, werewolves, warlocks, witches, faeries, etc) And a nearly impossible love story. Might actually like this better than Twilight. And before you say 'never! blasphemy!' trust me that it is a hard choice. (3 books)
Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz (3 books so far-one out in oct): Vampyres in high society-teens etc
Marked series by PC and Kristin Cast(5 books out so far-one out in oct): Vampyres that get marked and then have to go to a diff school...so vampyres are known in the world. but the main character is special...and lots of drama and boys etc. :)
Blood and Chocolate (1 book): Werewolves. I'm not a werewolf lover but this one was written so damn good.
Then there are books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes...i think 4? or 5? They are all linked but not a series...she wrote the first 'In the Forest of the Night' when she was 13! And they're quite awesome. All about vampires and vamp hunters.
My friend just overwhelmed me w/all of these and i'm now rereading them all. I'm so in love w/them. Happy reading!
