I think it is easier to write because it just comes out.
It can follow a story but it doesn't have to have a story line.
It can be romantic, adventurous and genius.
I don't know- I respect people who write anything but I think it takes courage to write poetry.
Poetry is more personal, in my opinion, than stories are.
I really do love both, though.

Well, I really don't LIKE writing fanfiction but I find myself doing it often due to requests. :P
