no, that doesn't sound strange at all! i was so hoping people would like it, because it felt better to me than val questioning it the whole time.

i love youuuuu and your loyal commenting! I thought throwing in a bit of Alex's perspective was necessary, right? The story is going to be mostly third person but there will be more Alex since his pov is interesting and fun to write and maybe a bit of layla's down the road too! (:

i feel that the ignoring the person that you've kissed or have admitted your feelings to is just overdone. having done it in the past, i just wanted to take a new approach.

I hope to have the second and third chapters up within the week. The 2nd one will probably be finished & posted by tomorrow. I went to edit it tonight and I just couldn't look at it again after staying up with it all night last night haha

hahaha you're like my sole reader at this point. i'm wicked excited. i stayed up till 5 in the morning working on chapter 2. it'll be up soon. i can't wait to finish this aha and i love how devoted you've been as a reader. now that i'm out of high school (i graduated on saturday. woo!) i'm going to have so much more time for writing. i'll be devoting this summer to finishing INLAM (: also, in the fall i'm majoring in creative writing at college so YAY haha thanks so much for sticking around

I honestly don't know why. Maybe because Zooey reminds me of myself or I can relate to her, Idk. I just love the way they are with each other. How they talk and interact. It's like they have their own precious little world. God, I sound ridiculous. In short, it's an awesome story and you deserve all the feedback you get.

that "what if" factor is always a tough thing to cope with, but throwing in val's distractions for the moment will keep her mind off of it for a while.

i'm so glad you think it's refreshing! i wanted to do something different, even going as far to throw another guy in there for val to like because i haven't exactly seen something like that before. and i'm really stoked that it seems that i'm pulling it off.

and thank you so much for the compliment! oddly, i've been feeling like i lost my style lately, and i've been struggling to get it back. so a boost definitely helps. (:
