I'm not feet's biggest fan, either. I don't have a fear or a hatred, but for some reason, socks are just so appealing.June 8th, 2011 at 03:03am

Well the air conditioning is out as of yesterday, and most of yesterday it was stormy, so it was alright. But now I just can't even force myself to put pants or a shirt on, neither can Seth or Teej. We've even nicks'd the sock rule. And we always wear socks in this house. Always.June 5th, 2011 at 08:44pm

I've heard that tourism in the 80's was the very best, visors were in and fanny packs were the jam. 80's tourist is better than guy that doesn't bother to put pants on.June 2nd, 2011 at 07:31pm

Yes, I guess I've been neglecting the Skype since I've been home. I've just been spending a lot of time away from my laptop. I will rectify this travesty of social interaction forthwith! Or tomorrow, more likely.May 31st, 2011 at 08:49am -

I mean, have have ever heard of Karl Marx? He claimed that religion was simply the ''opium of the people,'' and that it was created purely to keep people in their place and to control the social masses. Which, is understandable if you think about it. Take those people who are basically on the verge of death and suffering extreme poverty, yet they believe in God still? It doesn't make sense; an all-loving God, yet he allows people to live like that? So this, the problem of evil, is counteracted with the idea of the after-life. They are promised eternal paradise there, and that they'll never suffer again. So that's why the lower class people tend to 'stay in their place.' If they don't, then they are going to Hell.
