You are very welcome, my dear. :)January 5th, 2012 at 05:27am

Nah, I'd never move to the US. I probably wouldn't move to the UK, either. I do actually like Australia, despite all my whinging about the heat.
Also, Mini Indulgences sound good. I have to eat all the time because I'm doing bodybuilding, so calories are meaningless to me, muahaha! I'm glad I reminded you of desserts so that I could also be reminded about their delicious existence.January 4th, 2012 at 10:49pm -
Ha, there aren't really magazines here either. I know of a few small ones that are quarterly, but that's about it. If you want to be a writer, live in America or the UK, basically.
Breaks are good, though- you're right. They just come served with a little guilt sometimes, but I guess that's half the indulgence.January 2nd, 2012 at 10:52pm -
That sounds like good advice- thanks! It's very comforting to hear. Thanks also for the story comment!
I guess I partly meant with the publishing being hard in Australia thing that, over here, there aren't many publishers accepting new material, and it's very competitive. You basically need a recommendation from a semi-famous author, or to have an extensive career writing for magazines, etc. to get your manuscript read in the first place.
I'll certainly let you know when my book is out, though. I feel naughty because I've been lazy for, like, four days now. I need to hurry up.December 29th, 2011 at 01:18pm -
Also, thanks for the friending- you seem like an awesome person.December 28th, 2011 at 11:28am

Being an English major sounds cool. I kind of worry that since I don't study English I'm not going to be as good of a writer- I have to learn all my literary conventions by reading. Luckily, my partner did his thesis in English, so I pick a lot up just through conversation.
Also, The Macabre Tales is my new story, yeah. Everything else is kind of on hold while I finish off my novel (trying to knock it out and polish it in two months total). I haven't had anything published, mainly since I live in Australia where publishing isn't really a thing (bookstores here mostly sell American products), but also because I'm still a young'un. I don't want to bother with contracts while I'm still in school and such, so I'm selling my first book myself.December 28th, 2011 at 11:27am -
I actually read that book, like, really recently. My partner let me borrow it, although I'd never heard of the author before that. I think it's a bit obscure among non-bookish people, so I'm surprised to have it recommended yet again! You must have good taste in books!
Thanks again for your kind words- I'm actually going to be around Mibba a bit more, working on a new story (I've been distracted by my novel, and feel bad about it).December 27th, 2011 at 04:59am -
Thanks for the story comment on Roast! It was just a quick Christmas thing, but I'll be using the same characters again.December 27th, 2011 at 03:23am

Hey. How's it going?
Just thought I'd let you know that I posted a one-shot sequel to A Cup of Coffee with a Side of Subtext, in case you were interested.
Have a lovely day. :)October 17th, 2011 at 01:06am -

Yeah, I left certain details like that open to interpretation. I personally see the couple as still together, but I could also support the idea that it is lost love.(Incidentally, I left gender open to interpretation as well, and I think I'm the only one who doesn't see it as heterosexual.)
I forgot what else I was gonna say here, but thanks for the comment, dear! :)
