Sounds... funny! In India they have laughing classes, where they get people to do all sorts of exercises to make them laugh... Blue Peter went to one once.
When I write, I constantly interchange between French and English, mostly with nouns and prepositions. Mamam says I am "shaming the French language" but I can't help it! It's just when I write. I have to go back through my story and check for "avec," "maintenant," "je," and "dit" mostly. I'll show you.
Mes parents wanted us to be trilingual avec l'anglais, le français et l'espagnol, so ma mère taught mes frères et moi a lot when were younger, but it didn't work out because mon père parle l'espagnol and l'anglais, and ma mère knows zero Spanish. So we were getting two different languages from two different parents while both were speaking English and it was all too much for my little six-year-old self. Maintenant ma mère gives us those little books that five-year-olds in France learn how to read from! They're really, really simple.
That's pretty much what I naturally write. Just the basic French comes up, and then sometimes it's English, and half the time it's spelled wrong. I know... it's dreadful. When I talk, I sound a little more intelligent than that, thankfully. :-) That's partially why I'm homeschooled. I would fail school if I wrote like that, but Mamam can at least understand it. It takes me about twenty minutes to go through a chapter and remove the French words.
Your French is amazing! I'm envious. I should really be better at French and Spanish, considering my parents are fluent in their respective languages, but I'm kind of terrible at both of them.
Merci beaucoup, Claire! J'apprécie votre message. :-) J'aime vos poèmes!
I'm really nowhere near fluent in French. My mom is, and she's taught me and my siblings, but we speak it much more than write it. I wish I could write a story in French though! That would be so cool! You seem really good at it yourself. Have you thought about writing one?
Ohh I hate math, I'm really bad at it. Umm there isn't a show I want to work on in peticular but I like cardcaptor's I still think they should have continued that the last part of it (which wa a movie) was kind of a downer, I wasn't really happy with the end result. It basically lead up to nothing, they put you through this great episode...then nothing. LooL yes nobody comments me.. : ( it's sad. At least you comment!! : )
I love art and Literature, and hobbies well I'm going to start horse-back riding but I usually write and read or paint and sketch all the time.... that's really it, but I was thinking about going into law or something with anime, or movies.
Sadly, although I've written ahead on this story, I'm not going to do what I did for TOT and publish everything in one big massive rush. This way, although I'm just plain greedy to be honest, I get more comments and readers! It works though. So I'm publishing once/ twice on a weekend, and then sometimes on a wednesday.
LoooL, fuzzy socks rule!! Your so lucky you only have three days of classes... umm im not really sure I have a favourite Andrew Lloyd Webber song, but I do love Think Of Me,and The Mirror but thats just two off the top of my head. How about you?
