I've found a lot of places only do marching season! I'm SO glad we do winterguard and winter percussion. It's much more broken down and specific to the guard and percussion instead of being a huge endeavor like marching band! I love the focus JUST being on the guard, it makes me feel loved <3 plus winter is inside a gym so you're so close to your audience, so it's really all about performance, which i LOVE! :) my director likes to choose things that are freaking hard shows oh my god it's fantastic. i LOVE a challenge :DDD what do you play?? or are you in guard like me? :)

my freshman year winter season we used James bond music in our show haha because we were thieves so it worked :)

I'm SO stoked to see TSS! AHHH! It's gonna be SUCH a good freaking show with TSS, HCR, and WTK :D I can hardly wait. seriously. and okay haha just get back to me when you figure out who you've seen:P

and ASL is fun but definitely hard to learn because it's completely non-verbal, which is something waaaaay different for me haha

I was just reading your bio, and I just wanted to say that I know sign language! I took an ASL class instead of Spanish or French for my foreign language requirement :) i love it!

Well at my school we have marching band in the fall, and winterguard in the spring, so I've done 2 shows every year. Freshman year- Fall: Adventures on earth(it was music from ET) Spring- Chase the case(we were thieves in a museum!) Soph year- Fall: The congo(jungle themed) Spring: Freak show(we were circus freaks :D our show song was it's just me by escape the fate <3) Jr Year- Fall: The Rise and fall of rome(guard was slaves and the band was roman soldiers) Spring: daydream(we were portraying a daydream in a park) and now Senior year I only know fall because obv the year isn't over yet :P But our Fall Marching show is called "Flight" and we're portraying like you're flying a kite and you're light and airy and whatnot. :) I love these shows and I'm sad that I'm done after this year :( Oh and equipment wise, I've used the standard flag, rifle, and sabre, in addition to GIANT butterfly wings, metallic square things, roman broadswords, and swing flags. :)

Favorite live band? Ohh. Let's see, I've seen Owl City twice, The all american rejects, lady gaga, 3OH!3 twice, The white tie affair, flo rida, chris daughtry, the ready set, black veil brides, hellogoodbye, relient k, every avenue, and simple plan. They were all amaaaaaazing but I'd say it's a tie between Owl City and Simple Plan :) I'm also seeing We The Kings, The Summer Set, and Hot Chelle Rae next month so we'll see if they surpass OC and SP! :D
