Ok, so awesome verse for that would be Galatians 1:10, "Obviously, I'm not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. if pleasing people were my goal ,I would not be Christ's follower." It's something I have to remember daily, because where I live, there aren't many people to befriend, and those that there are, are all into drinking and drugs and things like that. And I've tried to befriend someone, and it totally backfired on me. So I have to remember, this is who I am, and this is why I live it. I'm not going to change for them. I'm going to stay me.

I am not sure where its from. It was on the memorial card thingy for my great aunt who passed a couple months ago. I have it sitting in my bedroom. I loved her a lot and I couldn't part with it. Everytime I read it, I think of her cuz she had cancer and suffered til the end. It doesn't say where its from, but you can use it if u want. =)
