Soft rocks cool too =) It is very soothing, I usually listen to soft rock when I want to calm down... which isn't very often... I hate getting angry.

Haha. We don't call our Ashley, Ashley either. We call her by her last name, Rollins. It fits her much better than Ashley ever did.

Yeah. I love music. It controls most of my life. . . It's really hard to describe my taste in music. Whatever overview I give you, its still going to be very unclear as to what I like.

But I love Traditional Irish music (The Tossers, The Dubliners, The Pogues). I love any form of music with Irish in it, especially Irish Punk (Dropkick Murphys, The Mahones, Flogging Molly). I love Punk as well (Against Me!, Street Dogs, The Unseen, Far From Finished, The Gaslight Anthem). Then, you go into Ska because of Punk (Big D And The Kids Table, Mad Caddies). Then I also like the Pop Punk/Alternative (The Academy Is. . ., Jack's Mannequin, Motion City Soundtrack), though not as much. Annnd, then I grew up on Classic Rock and Hard Rock (HURT, 10 Years, Foo Fighters) and I love that. Then there's the unsigned bands that I know (sometimes quite literally) and love (Steer Clear- sadly doesn't exist anymore, Home Star Runner, 27 Years, Wild Colonial Bhoys).

Well. . . There's a bit to the nickname. First I love the name Róisín (which is what Sheen is short for). Second, I love Ireland and Róisín is an Irish name. And then, I shortened it to the nickname Sheen because people have such a difficult time pronouncing Róisín.

The friends I have that live in Ireland barely even know me as Lauren. They all refer to me as Sheen or Róisín.

A few of my friends from around here call me it from time to time, but for the friends here, its more like a pen name than a nickname, I guess.

I've just never really felt that Lauren fit me. . . It just seems really . . . Normal. I mean, I love the name Lauren in itself. I just don't think that it fits me.

So really, I guess the reason people call me it is out of preference.

Yeah. They're a lot alike, but I still think Italian is prettier. . . I've never liked the way Spanish sounds. I don't even know what it is about it, I've just never liked it. Maybe its because I hear it so much. It just doesn't seem special anymore like most foreign languages do.

Oh, I would never do well with that. I like walking through my school and knowing everyone. I like the opportunity to talk to anyone and everyone that I pass in the hallway. I have a cousin who tells me she can't imagine what that would be like, and I think she's missing out. ^_^

Then again, it doesn't really matter if I know people, I'll still talk to them. Just because I like to freak people out.

Hopefully the homesickness will let up on you though. I hate that feeling.

I've been tired too. I think I'm still making up for all the running around on Christmas. Not to mention, I've just been sleeping like crap.

I'm pretty good. Have all this week of, and really happy that I'm selling my old ipod for a new, bigger one! ^_^

Hmm. That's too bad. I'm in a tiny town as well and we have Spanish and German. We're like the only town that has more than Spanish around here though. We're just lucky enough to have a guy that moved here from Germany and has a teaching degree living in our town.

Haha. Yes. I do actually. I love German. And, most of the grammatic aspects are the same as English, so that helps. I'm trying to teach myself Gaelic now, but its hard because it has like NOTHING in common with English and I don't have anyone around that speaks it to explain sounds to me.

I would love to learn Italian to. I have an Italian dictionary, but I've never learned anything else about it. I know that basta means enough or stop. Scusi means excuse me. . . annnnd that's about it.
