No, but she did work as an English teacher for a while. I hardly let anyone I know face-to-face read my writing anyway. Guess it's a kind of security mechanism. I gave my english teacher some of my writing recently, under the pretext that I was thinking of applying for a Creative Writing course at University.

Will do! I probably won't publish a redraft, but it'd be great to have someone to send it to just for a veto. My mum keeps bugging me to let her read it, but naturally I'm a little worried she'll think it's horrific!!

Rewrite as in, make it better. Some would be plot details, such as Elanor getting together with Raphael in the end, or the timing of certain events. Others would just be broadening description, eliminating mistakes, continuity errors, character deviances etc. There's a lot that can be done. ^_^
Ah, [i]Pride and Prejudice[/i]... amazing woman, Jane Austen. If I could meet anyone in the world from any time, she'd be a pretty good favourite. [i]The Alchemist[/i] and [i]Angel-seeker[/i] sound good, I'll have to check them out!

Oh, wow, you read TOT? I've been trying to rewrite it for a while now, but I never quite get round to it. Think about it lots, but no actual work gets done.

Ooo, let's see... I just finished reading [i]Shades of Grey[/i] by Jasper Fforde, which was pretty awesome, but then it turned out to be the first in a trilogy and he hasn't published the others yet, so I can't move on to the next. Before that I read [i]The Time Traveller's Wife[/i] which is also awesome and definitely worth reading if you haven't already! And then... [i]Mort[/i] by Terry Pratchett, which was very funny. I read quite a bit, as you may guess! Any suggestions as to future reading matter?

Well, that's awesome! What did you read? I'm always curious as to what people find first when they read my stuff. Usually it turns out to be DOARR, as I update that most... ^_^

I don't know if I can go and pinpoint all of the exact mistakes, but it is mostly lack of punctuation or incorrect usage of it as well as incorrect uses of "there", "their", and "they're." Your quotes aren't capitalized but that doesn't distract me all too much. Mainly it's a lack of periods or commas where the sentence should end.
I hope this helps. Other than that it's a really good story.

I write songs too...I've published some, but will never sing them out loud haha. I LOVE apples and Peanut Butter...that and OH PB&J with Chips MMMMM.
