It is.
*sigh*
But I find writing helps me a lot...
I let a lot out when I can't to all the people around me, you know?
My block went away, thank god.
haha
Lol that's awesome! :]
Yeah, you usually need a pretty thick needle to do it with.
When it's been in there for a while, if you wanted to try for another one you could just stretch the hole to make it bigger. That's what I had to do once cause I wore a stud for forever, and of course the base of the stud was smaller around than my lip ring was. So the hole closed up to only fit the stud in. And when I wanted to wear my lip ring again I had to stretch the hole by pushing it on through but it didn't hurt too bad.:] I could hear the skin "pop" when it went through though ha
Really? Hm.. I know different piercings hurt for different people but my lip piercing didn't hurt at all and thats not exaggerating. I had no pain from it. EXCEPT when I decided to get mcdonalds after i'd had it done and i got fries... and the salt got in the piercing. that stung a little. -.- the only one that really bothered me was my eyebrow. that bruised and got swollen and... my septum made me pass out haha
haha, nah, not really. Piercings are fun for me, I like them. So I didn't really care. Except for when the ring wouldn't go in, that hurt a tad. But it's healed now, haha.
Lol well this is over the period of some years. :]
I started getting body peircings at 12, so that gives you an idea hahaha :D
You know what's funny? And I always get shit about this. I've had tons of peircings... But I haven't had my ears pierced since I was under 5. XD
Yeah small holes will close up very very quickly.
Well, right now just my lip. But I used to have 2 eyebrow piercings on my left brow, I've had snakebites, I've had my nose pierced, and my septum, as well as my monroe. Some done professionally, some done at home. :] I also pierced my wrist once, and a place on my arm. I want to get my clavical done! :D
Lol, if not you could ask someone who works there if they could reccomend something that's like bactine. :]
or just keep the area clean.
ha really? a regular earring? wow.. you'd think that wouldn't work because the skin is so thick around the lips. but WOW. haha :D
I hope it all goes well for you, and I'm sure it will. :]
In my experience, lip rings are the easiest to care for.
That should work, but if you can, I'd still go for the bactine.
Well, after I had mine pierced the only instructions I had were not to fuck with it too much because that would make it more prone to infection. But I still did, and I've had my ride side pierced for years now without a single problem. But aside from not fucking with it, I was supposed to buy the bactine, and in the morning I was supposed to brush my teeth, use mouthwash, ya know, basic dental hygiene. The only difference is that each time you brush, you should get a q-tip, soak it in bactine and then wipe along the ring with it and also along the outline of the hole. Sometimes you'll get food stuck on it, and you can get that off with a q-tip and bactine. I don't use bactine anymore on mine because mines pretty much healed up as far as a lip piercing is concerned. Lip piercings are really just opened wounds though so I was instructed that if I ever take it out not to leave it out for too long. A friend of mine who had one left hers out overnight before and had no problems with it, but she'd also had hers for a year. When my left side got infected and I had to take it out, I'd only had mine for about a month and when I took out the ring, the hole closed up within an hour. :/ The only instructions are to make sure it's clean and dont pull on it too much. You'll want to once you get one. I always chew on my lip ring.
