I don't go up to people telling them to read my stuff. I simply leave a note like I have on my profile thing and if they want to check it out, then they are free to do so.

It irriated me that the person does that just to get readers/commenters on purpose. He may be trying to spread a message we all probably need to hear, but its kind of low to be doing that. There's good and bad to it.
