Thank you for the constructive comments! I’m happy to have a reader like you to point out some flaws along the way. :) I’ll try and be more aware of the transitions. I write a lot in between doing other things and my thoughts get distracted. Plus, with no beta I’m just throwing it all out there like “HERE YA GO!”

Thanks for commenting! I'm glad that you enjoyed them getting closer. Jeff wasn't actually hitting on Ashley, more just being a horn dog and finding her hot, but he wasn't going to do anything about it, that's why he went outside. Sorry if that wasn't clear!

Yes, very interesting things that could happen at Sea Isle. At some point they are going to have to have the relationship convo, then who knows what happens with Carter and the guys.

Probably better if you don't mention the Lightening sweeping the Caps in the second round to me 2 years ago, I might get too traumatized to write.

Hmm the Bengals, that seems like a hard team to be a fan of with all the drama. I should know, I'm a Skins fans, and they only do drama and sucking for years!

I am not sure if this is the best place for me to share what I think about Joe Pa but I think he deserved to have his statue taken down. I do realized how the NCAA penalties would make a fan of PSU feel though. I haven't had time to read much about it this morning since I was trying to finish writing (just posted the next chapter). I am curious if they will let players transfer out without sitting for a year. A lot of innocent people are being hurt by the bad actions of a few men, but then again, that's what happened to all those poor boys.

Don't feel bad, I LOVE football!!! Probably more than hockey. I've been a football fan forever but not so long on the hockey fan thing. I think I like hockey players better though, they seem nicer and more humble and don't get arrested left and right like every NFL player it seems this summer. I love college football too.

I don't think you need to know a ton about a particular sport or player to like a well written story. It helps to know more about them but not totally necessary. Do you read football fanfics? For some reason I never have, other than one about Eric Decker in college/then in NFL (I'm a fan of his and a hockey fan fic writer also wrote about him, so I saw it, wasn't searching for it).

Well I was finishing the next chapter so back to that so I can post.

Oh one more thing: I appreciate you reading since you aren't much of a Claude fan. I personally am not much of a Claude writer myself, this is my first time writing someone not on the team I follow (I'm a Caps fan that also started following the Avs last year because my fav player was traded there). Claude caught my attention at the end of the season/during the playoffs, so here was my attempt to do something with those thoughts.

I have read some stories myself that are about players I don't like at all but I usually only do it if they are extremely well written to keep my interest. Mostly I don't read them though unless I can somehow get hooked.

Claude didn't really have a choice about leaving Ashley then because he had his prior commitments, but that's why he didn't want to try to have sex with her, and then leave her right away. But he wanted to see her again so much that he flew he down to join him :) I think the next chapter will show that Claude still in the French seduction artist but he's really fallen for Ashley so that is ok!

Yes, they are moving incredibly slow. Claude is trying something different with Ashley, and Ashley goes slower in general but especially with Claude, who she couldn't trust. Just posted another chapter, hope you are satisfied!

Thanks for your comment! Claude has been pretty much perfect, hasn't he? It's about time that Ashley gave him a break! They've pretty much made up already but haven't said the words yet. Don't worry that is coming in the next chapter or two. Also, I guess I wasn't careful to be clear, Claude called a male friend to hang out, so no worries there!

I wasn't going to post more tonight because I'm tired but maybe I'll see if I can have the energy. If not tomorrow morning.

Thanks so much for the comment on The Fear is Paralyzing! I hadn't really put too much thought into her looking at her contract, but that's a good point. I might have to bring it up later in the story!
